Lovett Family Farms is a family run business that has farming history in the Mid-Canterbury region spanning back three generations.

Lovett Family Farms Ltd is striving to be the leading Agricultural Business in their field. They produce the highest quality produce, and deliver produce to buyers with outstanding service. We like to think of ourselves as environmentally conscious, Ag technology leaders, and a well situated business keen to take up new challenges.

Quality Standards

Lovett Family Farms produces the highest quality crops while being environmentally conscious. Lovett Family Farms is Global GAP Certified, and has some land Organically Certified with BioGro New Zealand.

Our Growing Region

Ashburton, Mid-Canterbury, located on the 44°S parallel, has unique climatic conditions and terrain: we can be in a crop at sea level, and within 30 minutes be at another paddock and be 300 metres above sea level and close to the mountains.

Quality

Our focus is to deliver quality produce. We work hard to be certified in accordance with Global GAP, the internationally recognized standard for farm production.

We also have local Farm Environmental Plans and Nutrient Budgets that are obtained every year.

We have a percentage of farm land certified BioGro, that allows New Zealand producers to access international markets and tap into the growing demand for organic produce. BioGro is equivalent to USDA (United States Department Agriculture) for organic produce and JAS (Japan Agricultural Standard) for organic plants and processed foods of plant origin.
